MOUNT VERNON — The Yellow Jackets will open tournament play in The Hive.
Mount Vernon earned the No. 24 seed in Sunday’s Division I Central District tournament draw and will host No. 30 Groveport-Madison at 7 p.m. Feb. 15.
A win would send the Jackets into the sectional final against second-seeded Dublin Coffman at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at Coffman.
Division IV
Like Mount Vernon, both Danville and East Knox will begin their postseason journeys on their home floors.
The Blue Devils earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 17 Plain City Shekinah Christian in a sectional semifinal game at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. If Danville wins, it will host No. 18 Pataskala Liberty Christian in a sectional championship game at 7 p.m. Feb. 19.
The Bulldogs earned the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 Delaware Christian at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in the sectional final.
Division III
Both Fredericktown and Centerburg will be on the road to open the Division III tournament.
The Freddies earned the No. 8 seed and will visit No. 6 Amanda-Clearcreek at 1 p.m. Feb. 19 in a sectional final.
Centerburg will open postseason play at Columbus Africentric at 1 p.m. Feb. 19 in a sectional final.
