Dear Knox County readers,
As you probably know, our parent company, Richland Source, owns and operates three websites throughout north central Ohio: Richland Source (covering Richland County), Ashland Source (covering Ashland County) and Knox Pages (covering Ohio’s best county).
And we are in the midst of a year-end membership drive. Our goal, as a company, is to add 200 new members by Dec. 31. It’s ambitious but achievable, and if we’re able to pull it off, it’ll greatly impact our ability to continue covering these communities (including Knox County!) in the years to come. Keep in mind, I was raised in the Dayton suburbs. While I have no doubt this meal will be safe to consume, and I have great respect for all who make this incredible Knox County tradition happen every year, this would be a stretch for me. And to have it on camera – well, I’m not quite sure how that would go.
But I’m willing to give it a shot because I want to WIN. And I want our coverage of Knox County to be sustainable long-term – because this community deserves it.
