KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Feb. 15
- The complainant called and said his home had been broken into and two firearms had been stolen.
- A deputy was conducting house checks with felony probation officers and located Victor J. Orndorff who had a probation violation warrant. Orndorff was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
- Deputies located Joseph Spearman on Stump St. who was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
- A deputy was dispatched to Rabbit Ridge Rd. in Howard. When he arrived he spoke to the complainant who said someone had broken the glass on a door at the Kokosing Valley Coon Hunters Club.
Feb. 16
- A deputy was dispatched to the Kenyon College Safety Office on a report of drugs that had been found and needed picked up. The items were collected and placed into evidence for destruction.
- A deputy spoke to the complainant by phone. He wanted to report a possible scam that was ended before he was victimized.
- A deputy spoke by phone to the president of the fraternities at Kenyon College. He wanted to report vandalism at the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity house. He said someone damaged the wood siding of the house by removing a panel and insulation. The complainant just wanted the KCSO to be aware of the situation and wanted it documented. Photographs of the damage were sent to the KCSO and were entered as part of the report.
Feb. 17
- Deputies were dispatched to the Kenyon College Campus Safety Office about found drug paraphernalia. The items were collected and logged into evidence for destruction.
- Deputies were dispatched to North Liberty Rd. for a possible drug overdose. When they arrived, the complainant told them a female was having a seizure and frothing at the mouth. The complainant also said the female may have been hit by the suspect, Glen Paul Siegrist, before having the seizure. Witness statements were taken and evidence collected. Siegrist was arrested for assault and domestic violence and taken to the Knox County Jail without incident.
- A deputy was dispatched to Gaskin Ave, in Gambier on a report of an intoxicated 20-year-old male, When the deputy arrived at the scene he found EMS personnel treating a male who was sitting on the floor. The male was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The male was issued a summons for underage consumption and transported by EMS to Knox Community hospital.
- A deputy observed a vehicle parked on N. Acland St. in Gambier. The vehicle was parked in such a way that it was blocking half of the two way street. The vehicle was impounded for blocking the roadway.
