What do you thrive on?
Whatever it is, there’s something that makes you tick, that makes you want to really live life instead of going through the motions.
Answering this question isn’t always easy, but fortunately there are countless resources close to home that can help you lead a healthy, thriving life. And Richland Source wants to highlight them.
That’s why, in partnership with OhioHealth, we’re launching a health and wellness section on the website called — you guessed it — thrive.
Consider this your one-stop shop for health-focused content with a local angle. Topics will range from mental and emotional health, to physical health, spiritual health, financial health and everything in between.
“Quite simply, we want this community to be a better place. And that has a lot to do with better choices. And choices, frankly, are driven by our thoughts and experiences. So what better way to support our community’s thriving than to highlight the stories, events, ideas and the myriad solutions to people’s life issues than to put the content in one place and begin the dialogue about what healthy looks like,” said Jack Windsor, Sales Director at Richland Source.
Improving the community, especially with regard to health, aligns with OhioHealth’s mission.
“Our mission is ‘to improve the health of those we serve.’ While we will be there for individuals who are sick or injured, we want to also help individuals achieve their best health – however they define it,” said Dr. Gavin Baumgardner, Vice President of Medical Affairs at OhioHealth Mansfield and Shelby Hospitals.
“This partnership with Richland Source helps us engage the community in a new way. We’re excited that this section will look at an individual’s overall wellbeing and connect individuals to experts right here in north central Ohio,” he said.
Thrive isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress. It’s about taking that one step toward a defined goal.
As thrive gets underway, readers can expect stories, insights, tips and tactics to live a healthy life. “And we will produce it in a lot of ways: red-hot relevant blog posts, engaging videos, impactful feature stories, tip-rich newsletters and special events and projects,” said Windsor.
“The projects and events are important because content will give guidance and the events and projects will give the community experiences—projects may include yoga sessions, cancer walks, charitable fundraising events, community forums on health. I also anticipate a few cool giveaways throughout the year, so stay tuned for those,” he said.
If you haven’t already, sign up for the newsletter so you stay up-to-date on all the latest content posted to thrive.
And don’t be afraid to share ideas for content. We want to hear from you if know someone who has an inspirational story or if there’s something happening locally that could impact the health of the community. Or perhaps you have a question you want answered — let us know below.
