Geoffrey Stephen McQuigg, 54, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at his residence, the Mount Vernon Developmental Center.
Geoffrey was born April 7, 1964, in Mount Vernon to Patricia Harris and Stephen Robert McQuigg.
Geoffrey’s abundant joy was something to behold. His laughter was a force of nature that filled rooms, flooded the halls and burst out of doors. If a life’s merit is measured by the amount of unconditional love one gives, Geoffrey died a wealthy man.
He had a love for watches that was only surpassed by his desire to share as any of his beloved caregivers can attest.
Geoffrey is survived by his mother, Patricia H. McQuigg of Mount Vernon, brother Dan (Rebecca) McQuigg of Canal Winchester, sister Laura (Gary) Rohler, of Mount Vernon, nieces and nephews, Nora and Maggie McQuigg, Brandyn McQuigg, Madi and Hudson Rohler, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen R. McQuigg, grandparents Dorothy and Robert McQuigg, Elizabeth and Ralph “Spiv” Harris.
The family will hold a private service at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Geoffrey Stephen McQuigg.
