Robert Lewis Casto, 84, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, Nov/ 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born on June 11, 1934 in Mount Gilead to the late Robert and Ruby (Miller) Casto.
Robert was employed at Weyerhaeuser from which he retired after 37 years of service. Robert was a veteran serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Lois (Haberkorn) Casto; two daughters, Brenda Griffith, Francis Casto; four sons, Gary Casto, Terry Casto, Doug Casto, Bruce Casto; his step-son Russ Montgomery; three step-daughters, Cindy Edwards, Melissa Gottchalk, Nikki Freeman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister Shirley Lehman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother Danny Casto.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, Nov/ 9, 2018 at the Salvation Army Church beginning at 11 a.m. with Captain Christine Baker officiating.
