MOUNT VERNON — The Department of Primary Care—Pediatrics has welcomed Dr. Margaret Somple, DO to Knox Community Hospital.

Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Somple is a native of central Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, and earned her medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth.

She completed a pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Doctor’s Hospital Dual Residency Program.

Her love of infants and children influenced her choice of pediatrics as a specialty. She looks forward to developing and maintaining long term relationships with families in Knox County; and wants the community to know that she will listen as she cares for your family. She has a particular interest in chronic medical conditions, such as asthma, and strives to improve the care of medically complex children.

In moving to Mount Vernon, she and her family are already experiencing the warmth of the community and are happy to be a part of it.

Dr. Somple joins Dr. Svetlana “Dr. Lana” Titishina and they often have next day appointments available, call 740-399-3745 for more information.
