MOUNT VERNON — Ariel-Foundation Park is seeking businesses, churches and organizations that would like to assist with the Hocus Pocus Trick-or-Treat Trail on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The trail portion of the event will be located in “The Woods” on “The Lakes” side of the park. Interested parties may set up a candy stop, game station, craft table or other creative activity. There is no charge to participate; participants must bring their own tables/tents. There will be no electricity available in this area of the park, though participants may bring their own inverted generators if desired.
“We hope to have at least 50 stops along the trail for our inaugural event,” said Carrie Haver, park marketing director. “It’s an opportunity for our local businesses and organizations to give back to our community by providing a safe, fun event for families.”
Ariel-Foundation Park will also show the movie “Hocus Pocus” in the Schnormeier Event Center after the Trick-or-Treat Trail at 7:30 p.m.
If your business or organization is interested in participating, please contact marketing@arielfoundationpark.org or 740-398-6603.
