MOUNT VERNON — Months of hard work for 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors culminate in the junior fair sale, held Thursday at the Knox County Fair. The 575 market lots sold brought in $194,485.40.
“These are the leaders of this country coming up and we want to support them,” auctioneer Larry Moore told buyers as he started the bidding. “These kids, no matter where they end up in the sale, do a good job.”
