Crash Reports
May 14
- Gary R. Blackford was traveling east on Oak St. and a gray Ford Fusion was parked on Oak St. Blackford struck the parked car. He was cited for failure to control/weaving.
- Jennifer Bailey was traveling south on S. Jefferson St. and failed to yield the right-of-way to Casey A. Curry, who was traveling west on W. Vine St. Bailey struck Curry causing Curry to roll his vehicle three times. Bailey was cited for a stop sign violation.
May 15
- David Young and Faty W. Ray were traveling west on Coshocton Ave. Ray was in front of Young and stopped for a traffic light causing Young to strike Ray in the rear. Young was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Incident Reports
May 14
- At approximately 7:25 P.M two officers responded to a Calhoun St. residence on a report of a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival an officer spoke with the female subject who said her husband, Daniel Huffman, had punched her in the face following an argument. He told her if she called the police he would kill her and then fled the scene. Huffman was located, arrested, placed in handcuffs and transported to the Knox County Jail.
May 15
- At 10:27 A.M. An officer met with the complainant at the MVPD. The complainant made a theft complaint and a report was taken. The stolen property was entered into L.E.A.D.S.
- A complainant who lives on N. Sandusky St. reported a theft. He stated that a Yard Man push mower had been taken off his front porch. The complainant stated the theft had occurred between 2:00 P.M. And 4:30 P.M. on 5/15/18. There are no suspects.
- A shoplifting incident was reported to the MVPD There is no other information.

- Gary Blackford, 62, S. Catherine St. was cited for failure to control/weaving.
- Jettie McCord, 39, Cleveland, was cited for oversize/weight vehicle on local streets.
- John Biederman, 54, W. High St. was cited for a stop sign violation.
- Jennifer Bailey, 36, Columbus, was cited for a stop sign violation.
- Daniel Huffman, 31, Calhoun St. was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
May 15
- James Frost, 29 Broadway St. was cited for operator/chauffeur license required.
- Weston Predmore, 23, Newark, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Gary Yaekle, 68, Newark, was cited for changing lanes without safety.
- David Young, 45, W. Curtis St. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
