April 1

  • Vada R Clark was attempting to back out of their parking spot when they struck the rear side of a vehicle owned b Susan E. Chestnut.

Incident Reports

April 2

  • An officer was dispatched to a business on S ay St. on a report of vandalism. The business reported someone had shot a hole in their front window. Photographs were taken and physical evidence, including bullet fragments, was collected. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
  • At approximately 12:42 P.M. officers responded to a Follin Ave. apartment on a report of a disturbance/ The officers had responded to the same apartment 15 minutes earlier for the same reason. At the time the officers had warned the involved parties about their conduct. When the officers arrived the second time, a witness advised them that both parties had persisted in their disorderly conduct after the officers had left. Officers placed the parties, Joshua Loveland and Rae Jean Wheeler under arrest, charging both with disorderly conduct with persisting. They were then transported to the Knox County Jail and incarcerated.

April 3

  • Units were dispatched to Dogwood Terrace on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival an officer made contact with the individuals and determined the aggressor to be under the influence of alcohol. The individual was determined to be on probation and was arrested for probation violation.
  • At about 3:28 ., officers responded to a Venture Dr. address on a report of open doors on the building. Officers determined there were no signs of forced entry and that nothing was missing.
  • During a traffic stop a K9 alerted the officer of the presence of drugs. Th officer found a small amount of marijuana and suspected heroin. The suspected substance was sent to the lab for further testing. The driver was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

  • Clayton Shear,47, Coshocton Ave. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
  • Bradlee Neitzelt, 26, Wooster,was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
  • Joshua Loveland, 33, Follin Ave. was arrested for disorderly conduct with persisting.
  • Rae Jean Wheeler, 32, Follin Ave. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct with persisting.
  • Ivoree Bond, 25, Mansfield, was cited for driving under an FRA suspension, a window tint violation and for speeding.
  • Daniel Walton, 25, homeless, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
  • Jeffrey Rucker, 62, Possum St. was cited for expired or unlawful license plates.

April 3

  • Jonathan Noel, 39, Dogwood Terrace, was arrested for probation violation.
  • Raymond Williams, 47, Ames St. was arrested for open container.
  • Melissa McCutchen, Chestnut St. was arrested and charged with one count of drug paraphernalia, one count of possessing drug abuse instruments, one count of probation violation and was also cited for not having the required operator/chauffeur license.
  • Michel Purpura, 47, Brunswick, OH, was cited for oversize/weight vehicle on local streets.
  • Ronald Williams, 36, Dubin, OH, was cited for oversize/weight vehicle on local streets.
  • Wendy Carpenter, 46,Newark, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

April 4

  • Melvin White, 72, Howard St was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way when turning left,
