Crash Report

Feb. 24

  • Harry F. Whitcraft was backing from a parking space in a Coshocton business’ parking lot. Ryan Wood was southbound through the lot. Whitcraft did not see Wood and backed into Wood’s front driver’s side causing minor damage. The were no injuries.

Incident Report

Feb. 23

  • An officer responded to a South St. residence at approximately 1:09 P.M. on a report of a theft from a vehicle. When the officer arrived he spoke with the complainant who stated he had several rental DVDs taken from his van parked in the alley. A witness statement was taken and a report made.
  • At approximately 3:00 P.M. An officer responded to an E. Ohio Ave. residence on an assault complaint. The suspect fled the scene before the officer arrived and an arrest warrant was issued.
  • An officer was dispatched to Sycamore St. on a report of a disturbance. While the officer was speaking to the victim, the suspect showed up. The male was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct with persisting while voluntarily intoxicated.
  • An officer spoke to a complainant in reference to an act of vandalism that took placed between Feb. 22 and Feb 23. An unknown suspect damaged the rain guard of her 2012 Kia. The complainant stated the car had been parked in the parking lot of a Coshocton Ave. business when the incident happened. She believed someone was trying to gain access to the vehicle but was unable to gain entry. An investigation is pending.

Feb. 25

  • An officer responded to an Ash St. address on a report of an act of vandalism. The investigation will continue.

  • Russell Copeland, 35, E. Ohio Ave. was arrested on a warrant.

Feb. 23

  • Daniel Walton, 25, N. Norton St. was arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia offenses.
  • Rachel Mumaw, 37, N. Mulberry St. was cited for failure to transfer registration and arrested for obstructing official business.
  • Raymond Nickens was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
  • Timothy Stokes, 57, Newark, was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments.
  • Kathryn Arvin, 53, Columbus, was cited for driving under FRA suspension.
  • Damian Miracle, 37, W. Vine St. was charged with assault and inducing panic.
  • Jeffrey Sherbahn, 61, Oberlin St. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct with persisting and having an open container.
  • Jeffery Petrey, 44, S. Catherine St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
  • Paul Williams, 4, W. High St. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
  • Damian Miracle, 37, W. Vine St. was arrested for having weapons while under disability and for improper handling of a firearm.
  • Dimetry Woodson, 25, Marysville, was cited for expired or unlawful license plates.
  • Hunter Beckett, 19, Jackson, was arrested and charged with no operator’s license.

Feb. 24

  • Robert Scott, 34, E. Burgess St. was charged with drug abuse and with marijuana drug paraphernalia.
  • Timothy Orndorff, No Address, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation and with possessing drug abuse instruments.
  • Aaron Queen, 23, Columbus Rd. was cited for expired or unlawful plates.
