KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
- Jan. 29 – The Village of Gambier advised that a vehicle had been immobilized on 1/24/18 and now needed to be towed. The officer arrived on the scene and called for a truck to tow the vehicle. A vehicle inventory was conducted and a tow slip filled out. The boot was removed and the vehicle was towed to the towing company’s location. A paid receipt from the Village of Gambier is required for release The village administrator was advised of the situation.
- Jan. 29 – Two officers were patrolling Columbus Rd. when one of them spotted Rodney Snyder operating a vehicle. Snyder was seen driving onto the back driveway of 100 Columbus Rd. A check with dispatch indicated that Snyder had a state-wide warrant out of Franklin County for probation violation. The officers made contact with Snyder and placed him under arrest. Snyder was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
