KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

  • Jan. 26 – Three deputies along with the Fredericktown Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol went to a Cassell Rd. residence to locate Douglas J. Boyd, Decoda S. Ness, Colton L. Davis, and Crystal L. Stewart. The three male suspects were arrested on active felony warrants, handcuffed and placed into the cruisers. The female suspect was want by her probation officer and also placed under arrest. All four suspects were transported to the Knox County Jail.
  • Jan. 26 – The complainant requested an abandoned vehicle on her property on Roosevelt Dr. be removed. The car had been parked on her property since Sept. 2017. A 4-hour wait was placed on the vehicle at 1539 hours. An attempt was made by a Mount Vernon Police Officer to contact the owner of the vehicle. A message was left with a resident of her last known address. At 2022 hours, the complainant called the KCSO to report the owner of the vehicle had not retrieved it. The vehicle was towed to the impound lot and will be released with proof of ownership.
  • Jan. 27 – Tracy Jacquet was traveling southbound on N. Liberty Rd. The driver swerved to miss hitting a deer that was crossing the roadway. This caused Jacquet to drive onto the northbound lane and into the yard of Joseph Pilotti. It came to rest back on the roadway. Jacquet was cited for failure to control.
