KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
- Dec. 16 – An officer was traveling on W. Sandusky St. in Fredericktown when he spotted a vehicle traveling down the street without functioning license plate lights. The officer initiated a traffic stop and discovered the driver, identified as Richard Anthony, had an active warrant out of the Mansfield Police Department. Anthony was arrested and placed in the back of the officer’s patrol vehicle. Anthony was transported to the country line where he was released to members of the Mansfield Police Department.
- Dec. 17 – A complainant reported finding a bicycle in the weeds along the bike path near Small’s Gravel. He said it appeared to be abandoned. He retrieved the bike and stood it up near the bike path. An officer responded to the scene an hour after the call well after dark and located the bike between Zion and Kilduff roads. It is a dark blue, 18 speed Huffy Jackal dx bike. The officer collected the bike and booked it into the evidence room pending location of its owner.
- Dec. 17 – A complainant called the KCSO to report a spoon with burn marks in the bathroom of a gas station on Harcourt Road. An officer responded to the scene and collected the spoon for disposal.
