MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found nine guilty after arraignments were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on Nov. 27, 2017.

Matthew Adams, 23, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of use of unauthorized plates and possession of drug paraphernalia. The court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for the unauthorized plates charge. He was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days for the drugpParaphernalia charge.

Crystal Stewart, 34, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to possession of drug abuse instruments and was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended, complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and enroll in a random drug and alcohol screening program.

Samantha Cunningham, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of petty theft. The court sentenced her to serve a two-year probation term and 180 days in jail with 155 days suspended, concurrently for these charges.

Joshua Loveland, 32, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct/persisting. He was sentenced to serve a one-year probation term, 30 days in jail with 29 days suspended, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

Ashley Weatherbee, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia. The court sentenced her to serve a two-year probation term, 30 days in jail with 28 days suspended, complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and enroll in a random drug and alcohol screening program.

Brittany Tomlin, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of petty theft and was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 180 days in jail with 165 days suspended, and pay a $200 fine plus court costs.

Wesley Addy, 32, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 60 days in jail with 58 days suspended, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

Jennifer Kolasky, 39, of Danville, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and having a defective exhaust. She was sentenced by the court to pay a fine of $1,000, serve a five-year probation term, 365 days in jail with 335 days suspended, enroll in IOP within 10 days of release from jail, and a suspended operator’s license for three years.

David Allar, 48, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct/persisting and criminal damaging. The court sentenced him to serve a two-year probation term, 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.

Director of Law Rob Broeren represented the State of Ohio and the City of Mount Vernon in these cases.
