MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on child pornography charges on Nov. 27.
According to a press release from Sheriff David Shaffer, deputies arrested 33-year-old Robert M. Upchurch and 36-year-old Jeremy M. Fields on felony charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor. The two separate investigations were initiated by Detective Dan Bobo after he received information that the suspects were downloading and sharing child pornography.
The Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in processing the computer files and detectives from the Mount Vernon Police Department assisted with the search warrant.
