LICKING COUNTY – A 39-year-old Mount Vernon woman was killed in a Monday afternoon crash in Jersey Township. WNKO.com in Newark reports that according to the Granville Post of the State Patrol, Kerry Mintier was driving eastbound on Worthington Road around 1:30pm when she went left of center and struck a westbound dump truck being driven by Amy Scott, of Ashville.
Mintier was transported to Grant Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.
Scott, 30, was treated at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
