COLUMBUS — America 250-Ohio, in partnership with Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau, released the Ohio Ag-Venture Guide on Sept. 1.
The free handbook is a downloadable guide designed to help Ohio families explore the farms, producers, and agricultural destinations that shape communities across the state.
The guide features more than 75 agricultural adventures organized across five regions of Ohio, offering suggested itineraries alongside family-friendly attractions, scenic drives, seasonal activities, educational stops and local food experiences.
Categories highlighted in the guide include:
- Orchards & fruit farms
- Pumpkin patches
- Dairy & cheese producers
- Farmers markets
- Historic farms
- Corn mazes
- U-pick experiences
- Hayrides
- Greenhouses & arboretums
- Vineyards

Guide highlights fun, educational activities
Among the destinations featured in the guide, visitors can choose from a wide range of memorable farm experiences, including pumpkin picking, giant corn mazes, hayrides, sunflower fields, goat yoga, alpaca encounters, vineyard tours, fresh cider tastings, and build-your-own flower bouquets.
Together, these experiences provide fun, educational opportunities for visitors of all ages to connect with Ohio’s farms, food, and agricultural heritage.

The Ohio Ag-Venture Guide is free to download and is intended to help Ohio families support local agriculture while discovering authentic, hands-on adventures close to home.
