HOWARD – Town Center Petroleum, which operates convenience stores and drive thru locations known as Town Center Market Stores, announces a new location being built at the main entrance to Apple Valley Lake (off of U.S. 36 and Apple Valley Boulevard). The company currently owns and operates 4 locations in the Mount Vernon area.

“This new site design is what we like to call Town Center Market Stores 2.0,” said Chris Curry, who is the Vice President of Operations and Chief Technical Officer for the company.

Curry continued, “All of our new sites going forward will feature a beautiful and spacious convenience store with food service and a drive thru window for easy access. This new location will also feature a state-of-the-art touch free car wash which will be available 24 hours a day.”

In addition, the site will also offer a large beer/wine drive-thru that will allow customers hauling their boats to easily pull through to grab all of their lake essentials. The company’s motto is to have the nicest and cleanest stores around.

The new location will offer Shell fuel which offers rewards and loyalty options to customers either though the fuel reward program or as a partner with Kroger stores. Customers will be able to redeem their Kroger Plus Points at any of the Town Center Market locations while filling up with Shell fuel. They will also offer kerosene recreation gas at the new location.

The location will also offer food from Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Hunt Brothers Pizza. Currry said, “We will also have a roller grill offering and possibly fresh soups throughout the year. In addition we will feature a large selection of fresh deli sandwiches and snacks that will be brought in from multiple vendors. We want to create a true destination location where our customers can come in and grab all of their supplies in one stop.”

The plan is to open to the public sometime in early to mid 2018.

“We are excited to bring our new store design to the residents of Apple Valley & Howard and the entire Knox County area,” said Curry.
