Patrolman while on patrol discovered Marijuana plants growing in front of a residence in the area North Street. Plants will be properly disposed of.

8/23/17 – At approximately 7:30 AM an officer responded to an E. Chestnut St. address in reference to a suspicious person at a residence. When the officer arrived on the scene, he spoke with David Lee Cross who stated he needed to contact the home owner for a ride. Cross stated he needed a ride home and he was unable to use his cell phone. While talking to Cross, the complainant told the officer that Cross had dropped a bag of hypodermic needles in front of her vehicle. Cross was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail. without incident.
8/23/217 – An officer was dispatched to S, Main St. in reference to the theft of a bicycle and a wallet. The bicycle is described as a 21″ Columbia Comfort/hybrid bicycle, 21 speed on the seat post, black/red pack on the back, velcroed to the bicycle and a Bell seat cushion. the wallet contains cash, a Florida driver’s license, a nonresidential fishing license, credit card and a blank check There are no known suspects at this time. The investigation is pending.
8/23/17 – A male suspect possibly connected to a shoplifting was, located near the intersection of Chester and Franklin streets. The male was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. He was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abused and released. The property seized was placed into evidence at the MVPD.
8/23/17 – An officer was dispatched to a residence on E. High St. in reference to a vehicle left in the complainant’s driveway. The vehicle was impounded and towed to the MVPD impound lot.

8/23/17 – Mark Stridciron, 29, Columbus, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
8/23/17 – Davis Cross, 30, N. Sandusky St. was arrested for criminal trespass and possession of drug abuse instruments.
8/23/17 – Brady Bemiller, 18, Fredericktown, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
8/23/17 – James Stone, 30, homeless, was arrested and charged with marijuana drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.
