Accidents:

On 9/198/16 a car driven by John Dagan was travelling southbound on Sandusky Street when he failed to see a red light as he was attempting to keep a can of paint from falling. He ran the red light and struck a car driven by April D. Fuller, causing minor damage.

On 9/19/16, a car driven by Mark A. Eddy, was travelling eastbound on S. Gay Street in the right hand lane. A car driven by Shaharra Hope Sanders was travelling eastbound on S. Gay Street in the left hand lane. Eddy attempted to change lanes but failed to see Sanders’ car,  striking it on the right side.

On 9/19/20 cars driven by Leann Pentz and Kelsey M. Smith were stopped at the stop sign at Wooster Road. Pentz failed to yield striking Smith who was still stopped.

On 9/19/16, two vehicles driven by Jonathan Hannahs and Mary Weins were travelling northbound on Newark Road when Weins stopped for road construction. Hannahs failed to stop striking Weins’ car in the rear.

On 9/19/16, Donna S. Lamp was travelling westbound on W. Chestnut Street and stopped at the traffic control device at North Mulberry Street and attempted to turn left to go southbound on North Mulberry Street. She proceeded through the red light striking a car driven by Michael J. Shire who was travelling southbound on North Mulberry Street.

On 9/19/16, Rachel Webber, 33, Clarence Court, was cited for a stop sign violation.

On 9/19/16, Ashley Bales, 20, Killbuck, was cited for windshield required.

On 9/19/16, John Dagan.47, Loudonville was cited for red light violation.

On 9/19/16, Mark Eddy, 53, Martinsburg Road, was cited for changing lanes without safety.

On 9/19/16, Jonathin Hannahs, 20, Utica, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

On 9/19/15, Donna Lamp, 62, Newark, was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.


KCSO

On 9/19/16 Complaint made that one to three individuals were sneaking around the exterior of complainant’s business late at night after business hours. The complainant scared them off and does not believe anything was taken.

On 9/19/16 A deputy met with the victim/complainant who advised an unknown person (s) removed a wagon that was storing scaffolding from his property sometime between 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 and 10 a.m. on 9/19/16. A report will be written to document the incident.

Domestic Disturbance

9/12  DPD responded to a domestic at a Market Street business.  The couple were located and found to be having a verbal argument.

Neighborhood Disturbance

9/12  DPD responded to a neighborhood disturbance on Walnut Street.  

Unsecured Business

9/14  DPD located an unsecured door on a Rambo Street business.

Suspicious Person

9/14  DPD responded to a suspicious person on Walnut Street.  The subject was located and identified.  

Civil Dispute

9/14  DPD responded to a dispute on Walnut Street.  Dispute was determined to be a Civil issue.  

Disturbance

9/14  DPD responded to a disturbance on Washington Street.

Assist Unit

9/15  DPD assisted Danville Fire Department on a squad run to East Main Street

Vandalism

09/15  DPD responded to a vandalism report on Rambo Street.

Found Property

9/16  DPD responded to a Market Street business where an “EBT” card had been found.

Lost Property

9/16  DPD responded to a Market Street location in reference to a lost wallet.

Parking Complaint

9/16  DPD responded to a South Market Street location regarding a parking complaint.

Assist Unit

9/16  DPD assisted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at a call on Hill Road.

Assist Unit

9/17  DPD assisted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at a domestic on Millersburg Road.  

Theft

9/18  DPD responded to a Market Street business regarding a gas drive off.  

Alarm

9/18  DPD responded to a Plum Street residence on a residential burglary alarm.  Property checked secure upon arrival.

Assist Unit

9/18  DPD assisted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on a Danville-Amity Road residence.

Domestic Disturbance

9/18  DPD responded to a family disturbance on South Street.  A juvenile was unruly and disruptive at the residence.

Possible Fraud

9/18  DPD responded to a Market Street business regarding a possible fraud.
