On 9/14/16, Thomas Nate Oakes was taken to the Knox County Jail on a probation violation. Oakes was also found in possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
On 9/14/16, a resident of Wooster Road made a fraud complaint. Complainant stated he had written a check to a company for payment. The company stated they never received the check but the check was cashed. A report will be made of the incident.

On 9/14/16, a car driven by Christopher Needles, Beech St. was eastbound on Adamson St. and stopped at a stop sign at Newark Rd. It was struck by a van owned by the Knox County Commissioners driven by Shirley Arganbright as it crossed Newark Rd.
