MVPD

Arrests/Citations/Charges:

On 9/13/16 Thomas Oakes, 25, E. Hamtramck St. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

On 9/13/16, Hubert Wells, 37, Howard St. was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

On 9/13/16, Todd Munday, 25, Springfield, Ohio was cited for no driver’s license.

On 9/13/16, Jake Williams, 31, Cleveland, was cited for operation @ stop sign.

On 9/13/16, Matthew Kola,34, Delaware, Ohio, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

On 9/13/16, Garrett Horlacher, 53, Sychar Rd. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On 9/13/16, Michael Andrews, 36, Club Dr. was cited for expired or unlawful license plates.

Accidents:

On 9/13/16, Jake Williams, Jr., Cleveland was stopped southbound on N. Elm St. at the stop sign at Walnut St. when he was struck in the left rear by a vehicle driven by Susan Byall, Walnut St. Mount Vernon.
 
On 9/13/16 a vehicle driven by Jesse Jacobs, Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon was stopped in traffic westbound on E. Chestnut. His car was struck in the rear by a car driven by Matthew Kola, Delaware, Ohio.
Incidents:

On 9/13/16 officers responded to a S. Howard St. address on a report of domestic violence.

On 9/13/16, found drugs were reported to the MVPD.

On 9/13/16, Officer met with a Marita Drive resident in reference to two syringes she found in the roadway near her residence. The syringes were collected and placed in the sharps container in car 3. There is nothing further to report at this time.

 

KCSO

On 9/12/16 KCSO detectives were traveling westbound on High Street when they observed Andrew Suain walking across High Street southbound on McKenzie Street. Contact was made with Suain after dispatch confirmed an outstanding arrest warrant against him. After a brief foot chase Suain was detained and transported to the Knox County jail.

On 9/13/16 an individual advised he arrived at his storage locker and found that his lock had been cut off. He opened the unit and found the contents had been ransacked.  Among the missing items were camping gear, sports cards, porcelain dolls and clothes.

On 9/13/16 deputy responded to a complaint that someone had broken into victim’s car while she was visiting Honey Run Park.
