MOUNT VERNON – Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Fredericktown man Sunday who was indicted by the Grand Jury in July on charges of Rape and Gross Sexual Imposition.
Steven Nyhart, 55, was arrested Sunday afternoon at an address on Danville-Amity Road following issuance of a statewide warrant.
The rape charge is a first degree felony. The case was invesigated by Fredericktown Ptl. Joris. According to public records, Nyhart is in jail under a No Bail classification.
