On 9/7/16 Deputy was advised of a suspect with an outstanding warrant at the incident location, the Centerburg Fire Station. The suspect, Christina L. Cruz, was arrested.
On 9/7/16 deputy was advised of a burglary at a home in the 23000 numbers of Coshocton Road. Complainant advised someone entered the residence by breaking the window, reaching in and opening the door. Once inside the residence someone spray painted the walls and stole several tools.
On September 7, 2016 Deputies were dispatched to Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon Ohio on a possible fight between father and son. During the investigation Donald L. Morris was arrested and transported to Knox County Jail. A report will be made of the incident.
On 9/8/16 Daryl Dean Judd was arrested on warrant out of Muskingum County Court of Common Pleas/Domestic Relations Division. The warrant was confirmed. Suspect was arrested and transported to Knox County Jail without incident.

Incidents:
On 9/7/16 an officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave, business on a report of a counterfeit bill. Complainant stated customer tried to pay for food with a fake $20 bill. Customer did pay for the food and left contact information. A report was taken and the counterfeit bill was logged into evidence. There is nothing further to report at this time.
On 9/7/16 a report of theft by misuse of a credit card was taken.
On 9/7/16 officers recovered several stolen items while doing a house check at Harnwell St. Mount Vernon with Municipal Court Probation. No other information is available.
On 9/7/16 officer responded to police department in reference to found property. Property was a cell phone found at the intersection of N. Gay St. and E. Sugar St. in Mount Vernon. Officer attempted to retrieve owner information from the phone but was unsuccessful because it was locked. Officer secured the phone into evidence as found property.
Accidents:
On Wednesday a car driven by Jaina Holley was east bound on Coshocton Ave. and directly behind a car driven by Larry Pentiuk. Pentiuk stopped for another vehicle and Holley was unable to stop in time and hit Pentiuks car.

Jaina Holley, 19, Pleasant Valley Road, Mount Vernon was cited on 9/7/16 for assured clear distance ahead.
Lori Lyle 51, Columbus was cited on 9/7/16 for driving under suspension/revocation and unlawful license plates.
Theresa Cupps, 28, New Delaware Road was cited on 9/7/16 for assured clear distance ahead.
Ryan Dewyze, 32, East Ohio Avenue, Mount Vernon was cited for driving under suspension.
