MOUNT VERNON – The Knox County man reported missing on Friday was found just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday in Richland County on State Route 30 near I-71 by a concerned citizen. Captain Jay Sheffer of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office says that citizen contacted the Ohio State Highway Patrol and a trooper was sent to the area. Upon running an ID check on the man, it was concluded that he was Richard Taylor, the man missing from Knox County. Mr. Taylor was cold and wet from walking during the snowy night. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation and his family was contacted.
