Arrests and Charges:
Christina Cruz, 39, of Columbus was arrested at 11:10 p.m. on Monday for persisting disorderly conduct at Knox Community Hospital.
Michal Rowe, 51, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday for two counts of aggravated menacing.
Accidents:
At around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, an unknown suspect backed a black sport utility vehicle out of a parking space in the Dollar Tree parking lot. When he did so, he struck an unoccupied parked 2012 Buick LaCrosse belonging to Morgan J. Williams of Mount Vernon. He then fled the scene of the accident. Several witnesses observed the incident.
Incidents:
At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, a victim reported the theft of $100 in cash from her residence on the 100-block of W. Lamartine Street.
At 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Michael D. Rowe, 51, of Mount Vernon was arrested for aggravated menacing after an incident on Miami Street. A loaded Smith & Wesson pistol, holster, and the suspect’s CCW permit were collected as evidence.
At 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that his Ford Explorer had been vandalized while parked on the 300-block of S. Roger Street.
