JACKSONTOWN – The Ohio Department of Transportation District 5 says the Siemens superload that was scheduled to go out today has been delayed due to utility issues in Mount Vernon.

It will be rescheduled at a later time. ODOT will send an update once the move has been scheduled. This was the second no go for the load which was originally set to go out last Friday. The load will be 330 feet long, 15 feet 6 inches tall, 20 feet 4 inches wide and be around 959,000 lbs.

This will be the first of three loads headed ultimately to Bellaire Harbor in Belmont County from Mount Vernon. The final destination is be the Caspian Sea.
