New Year’s holiday quiet for KCSO officers

MOUNT VERNON – No major incidents were reported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office over the New Year’s Holiday. For the period from 12/31/14 though 1/1/15 officers responded to just over fifty calls for service. Fourteen reports were written by officers for a variety of incidents.

Six people were booked into the jail during this time.
