At 10:20 p.m. last Friday (7/25), Tina Shepard, 46, was arrested on an outstanding warrant at her residence on Ball Road in Centerburg.  She was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

At 11:50 p.m. last Thursday (7/24), Rockey Clark, 24, of Mount Vernon was arrested at the Knox County Fair on an outstanding warrant issued by Delaware County.  He was transported to the Delaware County line and released to the authorities without incident.

At around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday (7/26), a victim reported that a storm drain had been stolen from his business on the 800-block of N. Sandusky Street.

At 9:50 p.m. on Sunday (7/27), a victim reported that someone had kicked in the back door to her attached garage and then kicked in the door that entered the house.  The suspect (or suspects) then stole her flat-screen television, her laptop, her tablet, and her phone.  A handheld safe containing $400.00 in cash and some Xanax and Suboxone tablets.  The scene was processed and evidence collected.

At 8:40 a.m. on Thursday (7/31), a victim reported that his bicycle, which he had left parked overnight outside his residence on the 200-block of Sychar Road, had been stolen.

At 9:50 a.m. on Thursday (7/31), a victim reported that his vehicle had been broken into between 4:00 and 4:15 a.m. that morning.  The passenger-side window was broken and several items had been taken.

Just before 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, a complainant reported that an unknown person or persons had removed the Whirlpool refrigerator and electric range from a residence on Millstone Lane owned by Bank of America.  No signs of forced entry were visible and no photographs were taken.

At 1:35 p.m. on Thursday, Brittney Carwell, 33, of Mount Vernon was arrested at her residence on N. Main Street for an outstanding warrant.  She had previously been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and is alleged to have violated the terms of her probation.  Carwell was taken to the Knox County Jail.

At 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, a victim reported that someone had broken into his garage on the 400-block of Crystal Avenue and stolen several tools and fishing poles.  The suspect had pried the walk-in door open to gain entry.  Photographs were taken and the victim was told to prepare and submit a list of the missing items.
