MOUNT VERNON – The Knox County Health Department will provide spraying for mosquitos this week on the following dates and locations:
- Tuesday July 15 Southside of Mount Vernon
- Wednesday July 16 Eastside of Mount Vernon
- Thursday July 17 Westside of Mount Vernon
- Friday July 18 Centerburg, Rich Hill, Mt. Liberty
All spraying the week of July 15 will take place after 8 p.m. Spraying may be delayed or cancelled due to bad weather conditions including rain, wind or low temperature.
Residents can request to not have their property sprayed if their area is scheduled for an upcoming date by calling Nate Overholt at 392-2200 Ext. 2228.
