At 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a business alarm at the Dollar General on Coshocton Avenue. The exterior of the building appeared secure and the officers cleared the scene. At 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a second motion alarm at the business. The exterior of the building still appeared secure and a keyholder came to the scene and assisted with a walk-through of the interior. Everything seemed secure and in-order.
At 10:17 p.m. on Wednesday, an officer responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Kwik-n-Kold Drive-Thru on Coshocton Avenue. A suspect was identified and is alleged to have taken three packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes valued at $16.92.
