MOUNT VERNON — Residents of Knox County and other parts of Central Ohio awoke to a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning. The white stuff didn’t stick to the roads much in Knox County but Columbus TV morning shows indicated icy conditions were to blame for many fender benders there. The snow on the leaves and pumpkins leftover from Halloween, signals that winter is not far away.
The snow won’t hang around for long. The forecast calls for a high of 35 today, sunshine Wednesday with temperatures in the upper 30’s and more sunshine Thursday high 47.
