MOUNT VERNON — The Friends of the Knox County Animal Shelter organization has published their 2014 Shelter Dogs calendar and it is on sale at several area businesses including First-Knox National Bank and Complete Care Animal Hospital. The all-color calendar features dogs that have been adopted from the Shelter and are priced at $7 each. Every penny from the sale of the calendar goes back into the Shelter to purchase surgical supplies and equipment, medicines and other items.
