Accidents:

Just after 1:45 p.m. on Monday, a semi-truck driven by Joe L. Sparkman Jr., 46, of Michigan City, IN entered the Mauser lot from Progress Drive.  He turned too sharply and struck the right front fender of a parked truck owned by Charles A. Jarvis III of Howard which was parked in the lot.

Incidents:

At around 1:50 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on the 300-block of Mitchell Avenue.  A couple was arguing about the male suspect’s responses to some Craigslist ads.  Both suspects admitted to some pushing and shoving but neither wished to pursue the matter.  The male suspect initially left to stay with his mother but returned soon after leaving.  An officer contacted him and informed him that, if officers returned to the scene and suspects had mutually assaulted one another again, then both of them would probably be arrested.

Just after 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of an unsecured residence on the 200-block of Delano Street.  A neighbor reported that the resident was out-of-state and that the front door of the residence was standing open.  Officers entered the residence and conducted a walk-thru, but failed to locate anyone inside.  Everything seemed to be secure and in-order and the officers secured the door before leaving the scene.
