On Monday morning, a resident of Mishey Road in Fredericktown reported that her home had been burglarized and ransacked sometime on Saturday night.  According to the report, the victim and her husband had been visiting their daughter and came home to their ransacked home.  She proceeded to clean up the mess in order to determine whether anything had been taken.  There was no sign of forced entry but the rear sliding-glass door had been left ajar for the dogs to enter/exit the home unassisted.  She noted that several items of jewelry, a guitar, a (musical) keyboard, and all of her medication had been taken.  She told the deputy that she would get a full listing of her medication—and the dosages—from her doctor.

On Sunday morning, a victim reported that someone had damaged his truck as it was parked overnight at Acland Apartments in Gambier.  He told the deputy that this had occurred several time prior to this incident.  The driver’s side bed panel had been keyed.  The cap on the back of the truck was damaged.  The rear right-hand corner of the truck cap had been smashed down.  The victim named no suspects but requested a report be filed.

At 1:50 a.m. on Monday, a victim reported an attempted burglary at a residence in Centerburg Commons on Cleveland Avenue in Centerburg.  The victim’s front door had been kicked in while he was in bed.  Nothing appeared to have been taken and the suspects had fled the scene.  A deputy collected a statement and photographed the damage.
