Barbara Jean (Hayes) Neely-Steward, age 81, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born on February 13, 1942, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late R. Emmett and Pauline (Stacy) Hayes.
Barb was a lifetime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and graduated High School from there as well. She worked at Cooper-Bessemer and also sold American Greeting cards to local businesses, mostly she was a wonderful homemaker for her loving family. Barb loved animals and treated them with love.
