August 30th just before 2 a.m. Ohio Highway Patrol troopers arrested Christopher Allen, 47, for his fifth OVI in the past six years. He was also found to be driving under suspension, and had more than 18 suspensions.
Troopers stopped his vehicle on Polaris Parkway for a headlight violation. Upon contact with Allen, troopers noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Allen then provided the trooper several fake names and social security numbers before revealing his true identity.
Troopers performed the field sobriety tests which Allen failed and he was placed under arrest. He was incarcerated in the Delaware County Jail and charged with a felony OVI, furnishing false information, driving under suspension and failure to display two headlights.
