KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
- Jan. 10 – Emelia K. Etzwiler was traveling westbound on Lower Fredericktown-Amity Rd. when she lost control of the vehicle and went off the right side of the road into a ditch. The vehicle then became tangled in a barbwire fence. The barbwire was removed from the vehicle and it was driven out of the ditch.
- Jan. 10 – An officer was traveling on Wooster Rd. and observed an injured deer lying in the ditch near Rinehart Rd. The officer got out of his vehicle and checked on the deer. It had been severely injured and both back legs were broken. The office dispatched the deer with his issued firearm.
