Traffic Citations:

Carla Parsons, 41, of Mount Vernon was cited at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday for speeding.

Incidents:

At 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the owner of Mort’s Auto Care reported an abandoned Ford Windstar in his lot.  After a four hour wait, the vehicle was towed to the MVPD impound lot by Blubaugh’s Body and Frame.  One key was with the vehicle.

At 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the owner of Mort’s Auto Care reported another abandoned vehicle at his business.  The front passenger window was broken out and two keys were with the vehicle.  It was also towed to the MVPD impound lot by Blubaugh’s Body and Frame.

At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that someone had fraudulently filed taxes in his name.

At 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to an activated residential alarm on the 300-block of Walnut Street.  They found the exterior of the building secure.  They made contact with the homeowner and with his neighbor.  The neighbor indicated that he had set off the alarm by mistake while feeding the dog while the homeowner was away.  He was able to reset the alarm and the officers left the scene.

 At 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that she was being harassed.   A suspect was identified.
