DANVILLE — Danville FFA recently received a $4,890 grant sponsored by the Tractor Supply Company. The club used the grant to update its Vo-Ag shop equipment.

Danville FFA purchased a state-of-the-art SawStop Safety Saw. SawStops’s revolutionary safety system reduces what could be a potentially life-changing injury into a scratch by stopping the spinning blade on contact with skin.

FFA members used a portion of the grant to purchase a new miter saw and stand, along with a metal cutoff saw.
