Many people consider 1999’s The Mummy to be among the most historically-accurate movies ever made about archaeology.
Those people are idiots.
But it is a delightful romp and a fun homage to the Mummy movies of the early 20th century.
So come to the Library, have some popcorn, sit in the dark, enjoy the air-conditioning, and learn not even one thing about archaeology, ancient Egypt, modern Egypt, subtle storytelling, physics, or anything else.
