MOUNT VERNON — The Capt.Peter Chapman II Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, has announced the following cadet promotions for the month of June.
Cadet Airman Basic Ian Huggins has been promoted to Cadet Airman, upon completion of the Major General John F. Curry Achievement of the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program.
Cadet Senior Airman Lukas Yarman, has been promoted to Cadet Staff Sergeant, upon completion of the Wright Brothers Achievement.
The Capt. Peter Chapman II Composite Squadron meets every Monday evening at 6 p.m. at the Knox County Airport terminal building.
The Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program is open to youth ages 12 to 18. The program focuses on Leadership, Aerospace Education, Physical Fitness and Character Development.
