Get ready to strut around like Bigfoot or practice your ghostly wail at the 6th annual Halloween Family Fun Night on all 3 levels of the Public Library of Mount Vernon & Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry Street, Mount Vernon.
This year’s theme for our Haunted Hallway will be “Ghosts” We will also celebrate our locally spotted “visitors”–K.C. Bigfoot and “Timmy” the Alien sightings, so wear your favorite costume, grab a prop, and take lots of photos.
Participants will be eligible for a prize at the best “Bigfoot Stomp” and the best “Spooky Ghost Call” contests open to all ages. Enjoy food, fun treats, spooky decorations and music while watching classic cartoons on the lower level big screen. An edible bug station will also be available. The library system participates in the Teal Bucket program for children with extreme food allergies.
Visit the main floor, teen space and children’s floor for more treats and fun. Free and open to the public.
