KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Oct. 25

  • An officer spoke with the complainant who said he had some money taken from his bank account. He said there was a fraudulent check with his personal information on it. The complainant said his bank wanted him to file a police report about the incident.
  • Sophie Anne Marie Miller was parked in a parking space on Coshocton Rd. in Howard. She began to back out of the space as Destiny R. Spears passed behind her. Miller did not see Spears and backed into her.
  • Kenyon Security advised that a small amount of leafy green material and rolling papers were discovered in a residence hall on campus. The items were collected and booked into evidence for destruction at a later time.
  • Alexa Updike Stout was traveling south on State Route 13 when she struck a deer. The collision caused damage to the right front fender and bumper of her vehicle.

Oct. 27

  • Two complainants called the KCSO to report a possible drunk driver on Millersburg Rd. and headed to Danville. The vehicle in question pulled off the road into a yard just south of the village while being observed by a Danville police officer. A deputy arrived at the scene and conducted field sobriety tests on the driver. The driver, John Hand II was arrested for OVI and transported to the Knox County Jail.
