Linda Marie Rummel, age 82, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Country Court Nursing Home, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born on September 11, 1943, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Dale and Anna (Rine) Kinnard.
Linda graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1961. She met her husband Will and started a family. Linda was a homemaker and took care of her son Darrin. Linda was a member of the First Christian Church in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed flowers and taking care of her garden. Most of all she loved being around her grandchildren, they were the light of her life.
Linda is survived by her son, Darrin (Shari) Rummel; grandchildren, Nick, Ethan and Jack Rummel.
Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by husband, Willis E. “Will” Rummel Jr; a sister, Joan McDonald; a brother, Dennis Kinnard.
