Charles W. Link, 95, of Mount Vernon passed away on Saturday morning, December 20, 2025 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon. He was born on a farm on May 17, 1930 in Franklin County to the late Curtis and Vera (Horger) Link.

Charles graduated from Hilliard High School and honorably served his country in the Navy. He had a great passion for farming. Charles retired from Kenyon College, where was a Plumber and the President of the Trades Union.
He was an active member of the Hope Lutheran Church near Sunbury, and he lent his plumber skills to help build the current church. Charles was also a member of the AmVets Post #95, the Ohio Farm Bureau and AARP. Charles was also president of the Farming Festival in Centerburg.

Charles is survived by his son, Wayne Link of Mount Vernon; and a stepson, James Lee of Mount Vernon.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Hall) Link; stepson, John Lee; and a brother, Howard Link.

A private inurnment will be held in Union Grove Cemetery at a later date.
