MOUNT VERNON —  If your eyelids are causing obstructed vision, this educational event may help.

Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, can help restore your vision and refresh the appearance of the eyes by removing excess skin. Join us for a free Doc Talk on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 6 p.m. to learn more.

Open to the community, this event will be held in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion (WFMP), 2nd-floor classroom. As you enter the building on the same floor as the Birthing Center, take a right, and the event will be in the first room on the left.

Suzanne Helming, D.O., joined the Department of Specialty Care- Otolaryngology team at Knox Community Hospital in 2013.

She earned her medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY and completed her residency at the McClaren- Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.

Helming offers advanced ear, nose, and throat treatment options such as head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. Her advanced training has increased ENT services and procedures.
