Angela Frazee was reported missing on Dec. 20, 2017.

KNOX COUNTY — After nearly two months, the #FindAngieFrazee Facebook page filled with joyful posts rather than pleas for information. Administrators on the page announced Saturday that Angela Frazee had been located.

“Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, concerns and support! As a family with the help of law enforcement, we were able to locate Angie today alive, safe, and well. At this time we ask that you give the family privacy and allow us to process this information,” Brandon Frazee wrote in a post dated Feb. 10.

“Thank you to each & every one of you for your prayers, love & support over the past 7 weeks during the search for Angie. Her family & friends also wish to thank law enforcement for helping to locate Angie,” wrote Tammy Lance Bolden, an administrator for the group.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office released a statement Monday in reference to the search for Frazee.

“On Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Lewisville, Texas, Police Department that they had located a missing person from Knox County. Angela Frazee was reported missing by family members on Dec. 20, 2018. Officers indicated that Angela was alive and unharmed. She has been staying in the Lewisville area,” the statement read.

Frazee, a 52-year-old Howard-area woman, was reported missing from her home on Dec. 20. At the time, Frazee had not reported to work at the Kenyon Inn and her cell phone was found at her residence.

Little information was available as the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Frazee’s family and friends searched for her. A post on the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page just days after Frazee was first reported missing indicated there was no evidence of foul play.

The #FindAngieFrazee Facebook page was created to bring attention to Frazee’s disappearance and totaled over 3,000 members by the time administrators announced she had been located.
